Operations Manager - Commercial Roofing - Texas

Gryphon Oakwood is currently working on an Operations Manager role for a roofing contractor in Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operations management within the commercial roofing sector
• In-depth understanding of roofing systems, including TPO, reroofing procedures, and modern installation techniques
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating, developing, and managing diverse teams
• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial roofing projects, from planning through execution and completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met
• Lead, manage, and support the roofing operations team to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to increase productivity and maintain consistent quality
• Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure full compliance with safety protocols and workmanship standards
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and successful project delivery
• Track and evaluate project performance using key metrics and adjust operations as needed to meet goals
• Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members in commercial roofing practices, including safety and installation techniques
