Job Summary:

Greet all bar patrons and serve requested drinks. Properly bill all patrons for drinks consumed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Make and serve drinks to guests and servers
• Working knowledge of the pos system
• Be aware of what is or is not included in the all-inclusive package
• Follow all procedures and policies regarding beverage controls as prescribed by standards.
• Follow cash handling policies accounting for all drinks, food and retail in the aloha pos system
• Accountable for issued bank
• Have full knowledge and comply with local liquor laws
• Ring guest checks and collect payments by procedure
• Ensure par levels are maintained ordering as needed
• Perform all side work duties and maintain a clean workspace. set next shift up for success
• Basic knowledge of the hotel layout, any events as well as hours of operation for other departments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1 year of serving experience, preferred
• High School or equivalent education required
• Basic Math Skills
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good multi-tasking abilities
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Ability to stand, lift and walk for extended periods of time
