NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer

We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that maximize efficiency and provide sustainable energy solutions for our clients.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial solar installations, hold NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification, and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform solar PV system installations, including layout, assembly, mounting, wiring, and commissioning of solar modules, inverters, and related equipment.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, codes, and company standards.
- Conduct site assessments, including structural analysis, to determine project requirements.
- Perform electrical work to interconnect solar systems to the grid or other power sources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project details, including system designs, inspections, and customer reports.
- Work with the project management team to complete installations within the specified timeline.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards and protocols throughout all phases of the installation.
- Provide guidance and training to junior installers and apprentices as required.

Qualifications:

- NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification (or equivalent PV certification).
- Proven experience in solar PV installation (2+ years preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical principles, NEC code, and local building codes related to solar installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with customers, team members, and project managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Familiarity with various solar equipment brands and installation tools.
