Job Description
We are looking to hire someone to add to our team at Smooth Transitions! The position would be packing/moving/unpacking senior citizens. We currently have a very close, small team, and are hoping to find someone that fits in well with us! We are currently looking for two movers. One will be more full-time (30+ hours a week) and one will be very part-time (20ish hours a week).
Perks:
-The pay for both positions will be salary in order to ensure a steady flow of money, even during the slow times. Each position will have a different salary, and it depends on experience.
-The boss pays for lunch a lot ;).
-Everyday is different. We go to different communities, work with different families, and it never gets boring.
-Who needs a gym membership when you get to get fit on the job??
-The position is semi full time, which means it's usually 4-5 days a week. And depending on the job we typically get out a little earlier than most. We start at the job (we go where the people need us!) at 9am, and work until we are done. It rarely goes past 4pm...
-We only work Monday-Friday.
-Tips!
Requirements:
-Reliability is huge! Also, since we go to where the job is, a reliable source of transportation is huge.
-Highly Ethical. We work with senior citizens that are going through huge life changes and need to be trustworthy and kind always.
-The job requires being on your feet all day and some heavy lifting. We use carts, dollies and other equipment to make lifting as minimal as possible, but we are moving after all, so being able to lift heavy items is required.
-Background check (it is required for us to work in each of our communities), driver's license, and a reliable vehicle since we are driving to different locations.
