Job Description:

As a Journeyman Metal Stud Framer and Drywall Installer, you will play a critical role in the construction process, responsible for the installation of metal stud framing and drywall systems. You will work alongside a team of professionals to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
• Install metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions.
• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to framing.
• Tape, mud, and finish drywall to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Metal Stud Framer and Drywall Installer.
• In-depth knowledge of metal stud framing and drywall installation techniques.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• OSHA certifications a plus
