Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Secretary to join our team! As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for working the front office pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. You will need to have experience in prior authorizations for HMO insurances and very strong computer skills. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.
