SNI Companies is assisting an Orthopedic office in West Houston to help find a Medical Scheduling Coordinator in a fast paced office environment.

Duties include:

• Communicates with all appropriate parties regarding patient
• Intakes referrals and creates charts in EMR
• Follows-up and ensures all documentation is obtained
• Schedules and/or reschedules patient appointment
• Coordinates transportation for our procedure patients, if needed
• Inform and provide the patient with the necessary information and instructions
• Follows-up on all Canceled or No Show Patients
• Sends appointment statuses to Doctor offices and attorneys
• Answer telephone and deal with inquiries
• Update patients' information into the EMR database
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of patients' charts
• Works closely with other departments to facilitate patients care

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Has a good understanding of medical terminology, good communication skills and is detail-oriented
• Medical terminology experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
