The Onsite Maintenance Manager coordinates, and directs the planning, maintenance, safety and alteration of equipment and machinery, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs / oversees that the following duties are completed in a safe manner:
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies.
• Interact in a professional manner with other employees/customers.
• Gives communication and direction to Maintenance Staff.
• Lead as necessary to ensure supervision and equipment maintenance is adequately provided on a daily basis.
• Conducts safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment.
• Instructs personnel in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation.
• Purchases service components used in the repair or preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure the use of competent companies for contract work.
• Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments for repairs.
• Seeks new technologies and automation opportunities in lowering the overall cost of manufacturing.
• Does planning and estimates for capital projects. Writes ARFs.
• Manages and tracks project progress.
• Ensure Company facilities, including buildings and grounds, are maintained to Company standards.
• Ensure mechanical and electrical maintenance of facility is preformed, as needed.
• Ensures that scheduled Preventative Maintenance is conducted and documented as outlined by SSW Advanced Technologies.

Qualifications, Experience requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, prefer 4 year degree and/or Trade School
• Five or more years of experience in maintenance, in a manufacturing environment.
• Three or more years of experience in a supervisor/management position.
• This position requires the knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics (PLC), carpentry, welding, machining and fabricating . Certifications in these areas are a strong plus.
• The position also requires proficiency in trouble shooting the before listed categories. Stamping equipment maintenance experience preferred.
