Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated and reliable Machinist/Welder to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to begin a career in metalworking. No prior experience is required — just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a passion for hands-on work. You’ll receive training in both welding and machining, gaining valuable technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision
Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
Read and interpret technical drawings
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects
Required Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
No prior welding or machining experience required
Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
Required Skills
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong attention to detail and safety
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG)
Familiarity with mechanical drawings
Additional Skills
Time management

Hand-eye coordination
