Our growing civil engineering client is seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Land Surveyor to join their team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will either be a licensed Land Surveyor or have the ability to obtain licensure within six months. This role involves working with deed and base maps, courthouse research, and managing surveying crews for various projects, including oil and gas, pipeline, boundary, and GPS surveying. The Land Surveyor will also be responsible for topographic mapping and construction layouts.


Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and schedule field crews for surveying projects.
• Develop deed maps and base maps through courthouse research.
• Understand and analyze right-of-way property information.
• Conduct surveying activities following ALTA/ACSM standards.
• Perform title, oil and gas, pipeline, boundary, and GPS surveying.
• Create topographic maps and construction layouts for civil engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant surveying regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Qualifications :

• 4+ years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
• Working knowledge of ALTA/ACSM standards and surveying practices.
• Experience with courthouse research, deed maps, and right-of-way property information.
• Strong understanding of topographic mapping and construction layouts.
• Familiarity with title, oil and gas, pipeline, boundary, and GPS surveying.
• Licensed Land Surveyor or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of survey field procedures.
• Proficiency in surveying software and GPS technology.

Location : Greenville, SC
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 per year
