Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect Designer to join our well-established civil engineering firm in Pawleys Island, SC. In this role, you will collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and the design team to assist with the preparation of landscape, site, master, irrigation, and lighting plans. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience in graphic design, including site research, documentation, and drafting tasks.


This is an excellent opportunity for a designer passionate about landscape architecture, who enjoys working on both residential and commercial projects, including industrial, retail, and healthcare sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in due diligence, site research, documentation, and drafting tasks.
• Prepare landscape plans, site plans, master plans, and irrigation and lighting designs based on direction from supervisors.
• Perform drafting tasks and collect data for project designs.
• Review and apply local zoning regulations, building codes, and jurisdictional regulations to project designs.
• Maintain communication with the design team and provide solutions to architectural, engineering, and construction issues.
• Assist with the preparation of submittal applications, reports, and design drawings.
• Manage multiple projects within deadlines and budget constraints in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (preferred but not required for candidates with 5+ years of experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LandFX.
• Experience with ArchGIS.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.

Location: Pawleys Island, SC
Employment Type: 6-Month Temp to Direct Hire
Pay Range: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8-hour days (core hours 9 AM - 4 PM); Friday 9 AM - 1 PM
Travel: Occasional day travel to local sites
