Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Salesforce Developer to join a forward-thinking technology team. No prior Salesforce experience is required—just a strong foundation in programming and a passion for learning. The successful candidate will work on custom Salesforce solutions, integrate external systems, and help create user-centric experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC). Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions. Develop backend logic using Apex (a language similar to Java/C#). Build responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Write SOQL queries to interact with Salesforce data. Work with APIs (REST/SOAP) for system integrations. Support the team with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting custom code and configurations. Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Maintain proper version control using Git and follow Agile methodologies. Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field. Experience: 1–2 years in software development (internship or project experience included). Required Skills & Attributes: Strong programming fundamentals with experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, or JavaScript preferred). Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Basic knowledge of REST APIs and web services. Familiarity with SQL or similar query languages. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Beneficial Skills: Exposure to MVC architecture or similar frameworks. Experience with JSON/XML for data exchange. Basic knowledge of Git for version control. Awareness of cloud platforms or CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required). #J-18808-Ljbffr The Recruitment Council
