Hays Electrical Services approaches each project with a cooperative mindset, working with business owners, contractors, and subcontractors towards the common goal – successful project delivery. We are expanding our staff and seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Hays Electrical Services team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Jr. Project Manager with experience in the electrical industry and proficiency in Procore software. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the electrical project team in all aspects of project coordination, documentation management, and communication. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Procore software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the project team, including engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Assist in the preparation of project documents, including contracts, submittals, and change orders.
• Manage project documentation, including electronic and paper files, using Procore software.
• Monitor project progress, including schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
• Assist in the coordination of project meetings, including scheduling and preparing meeting materials and minutes.
• Respond to project inquiries and requests for information in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide technical support to project team members, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documents and reports. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Electrical Apprentice experience; or Project Coordination in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination in the electrical industry.
• Proficiency in Procore software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
