Overview Jack in the Box - TEAM LEADER role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible, as the first-line operational supervisor, for training and leading team members in consistently delivering an exceptional guest experience, including ensuring great tasting/quality food, executing on 20/20 guest expectations, and ensuring compliance with all Jack in the Box procedures, systems and standards. Responsibilities Provide supervision and coaching to team members to deliver exceptional guest service and high food quality. Model calm, productive behavior during busy periods and ensure team is knowledgeable on job requirements. Lead by example in maintaining neat appearance and adhering to uniform and grooming standards. Maintain restaurant cleanliness and operational readiness across front of house (Guest Service, interior, exterior), back of house (Grill, Assembly, Prep, Fryer, Interior, Exterior, Receiving & Storage), and overall food safety practices. Assist with order taking and cashiering during peak times and ensure orders are accurate and completed timely. Foster a brand ambassador mindset, inspiring team members to embrace the Jack in the Box brand and focus on guest-centric service. Ensure compliance with JIB policies, labor laws, food safety, security, and cash handling procedures. On-boarding and ongoing training; provide feedback and recognition to employees; monitor and improve performance. Communicate effectively with guests, respond to concerns professionally, and resolve issues to achieve positive outcomes. Qualifications Experience : 6 consecutive months of JIB experience and 100% certification in all workstations for internal promotions, or 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Minimum age 18; completion of Team Leader training classes; ServSafe certification where required by state; English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking); ability to communicate with guests in multiple languages as needed by location; strong interpersonal, math, and organizational skills; ability to work with diverse teams; problem-solving and initiative; basic computer skills; integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand/walk 9095% of shift; lift/carry 1525 lbs; ability to read orders, operate a cash register, and monitor video screens.
