Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager Join to apply for the Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps. Position Summary Responsible for managing restaurant operations in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal and external service, build restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties/Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing levels; ensure training systems are fully implemented; identify and develop internal candidates; create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment; motivate and inspire employees; adhere to company procedures; comply with labor laws. Ensure guests receive an exceptional experience by training employees and holding the team accountable for excellent service and food quality; maintain visibility and interaction with guests; respond to concerns promptly; maintain brand image through consistent food quality, service, and cleanliness. Partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance using management tools; identify trends; create and implement improvement action plans; protect brand; monitor costs and budget adherence; increase sales and profitability by executing SPC. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 1+ year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations. External recruit: Minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: At least 18 years old; completed Assistant Manager training; ServSafe certified; English proficiency; basic math; analytical; organizational; self‑starter; PC competency; valid driver's license; integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk 85%-95% of shift; lift 10‑65 lbs; move freely; operate equipment and vehicle; use computer keyboard.
