International VAT - Associate

As a Tax Associate for International VAT (Value Added Tax) consulting within the RSM International Tax practice you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around two core concepts (Technical and Quality Expertise, and Client Service):

• Provide excellent client service to internationally active companies with VAT needs by interacting with clients, RSM US colleagues and RSM International member firms
• Manage the set up and operation of client engagements
• Support the delivery of technically complex multi-territory consulting assignments
• Work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver services
• Operate on a US National basis to support the needs of clients across the US
• Achieve technical qualifications to include the ATT VAT Foundation certificate
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or law degree
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel within assigned geographical area

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $68,640 - $81,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
