Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Insurance Authorization Specialist performs clerical and general office work of moderate difficulty, assisting patients and guarantors with insurance questions, and works hospital and office procedures pre-certification. Performs duties of obtaining authorizations, referrals, account payment questions and collections for services.
