We are seeking an Industrial Spray Painter/Powder Coater who will be responsible for ensuring parts are washed and painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Friday as needed.

Job Duties:

• Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat a variety of parts as needed
• Perform required quality checks including first piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Load parts correctly onto line for maximum line capacity and change hanging patterns as needed
• Apply powder to parts online, using electrostatic paint gun, and hang color tags for paint color changes
• Put plugs or tape onto parts
• Use measuring devices to ensure highest level of quality
• Sand and/or correct parts and troubleshoot as needed
• Clean and maintain equipment and perform housekeeping tasks
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be mechanically inclined, have knowledge of powder coat process, and properly maintain paint line
• Must have experience operating machinery and/or power tools
• Must be able to manage inventory products
• Must be computer literate
• Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail, multi-task, and possess effective time management skills
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive motions, standing for prolonged period during the shift, wear all safety gear, and lift 30+ pounds
