Please note: This position is not for Forvis Mazars. We are accepting applications for an In House Council position on behalf of a Real Estate and Development group in the Bowling Green area.

We are working with a well regarded Real Estate and Development group in the Bowling Green, KY area that is seeking to fill an In-House Council position. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in real estate and development law. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate and development matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, zoning, and land use.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
• 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate and development law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
