This Opportunity :
We have immediate full-time career opportunities for ICC Special Inspectors in several of our offices. Certerra offers on-going training and the ability to gain valuable career experience and technical certifications.
Job Duties
Candidate will have experience performing construction testing and inspection of soil, concrete, masonry, steel with ICC certifications. Also reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, structural masonry, structural steel and or spray-applied fireproofing.
Job Requirements
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
• Capable of working independently
• Strong communication and detailed writing skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
• Basic math and writing skills
• Involves outside work in various weather conditions, available to work irregular and weekend hours.
• Ability to pass a drug screen
Required & Preferred Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and politely with clients
Certifications that could be applicable for this position:
• ACI – American Concrete Institute Field or Laboratory
• ICC – International Code Council
• NICET – National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies
• WAQTC and ACNM TTCP
