$16.00-$28.00 per hour depending on skill level and experience.

Summary:

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial environments.  This position will inspect the effectiveness and safety the system.  You will lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing extraordinary customer service.

Essential Job Duties:

Meets with customer in their home and assess the customer’s needsOffers solutions that are beneficial for the customer and the company while striving for customer satisfactionFollows standard process for maintaining HVAC systemsCompletes sold services using protective measures to keep customer’s home clean and undamaged

Performs other duties as requested 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Proficient in cleaning and maintain an HVAC systemAbility to complete simple low voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditionersAbility to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees, verbally and in writingAbility to follow safety standardsAbility to manage time effectively and efficientlyAbility to multi-taskRegular and reliable attendance  

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentPossess a valid driver’s licenseEligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship  

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Any air conditioning certifications  

Physical Demands:

Ability to operate tablet, mobile phone and other field equipment as neededAbility to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and workAbility to lift/carry up to 100lbs repeatedly during work hoursAbility to climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hoursAbility to sit/stand for long periods of time during work hoursAbility to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)Ability to travel up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locationsAbility to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
