\n About the Job \n

We are looking for an HVAC Technician I to assist our Maintenance Supervisor. The HVAC Technician is responsible for helping the Maintenance team perform various HVAC maintenance, electrical, and repair activities to machinery, equipment, and facility. This position performs several maintenance functions in and around the facility, including providing routine, emergency, and scheduled/preventative maintenance to the building HVAC and associated equipment.

\n What You Will Do \n

\n
• Coordinate with and assist the maintenance team with preventive maintenance and repairs and other tasks as assigned
\n
• Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems
\n
• Properly document start and completion of assigned tasks using Monday.com tracker 
\n
• Help maintain HVAC systems and troubleshoot electrical issues
\n
• Utilize, maintain and keep track of power tools and mobile equipment.
\n
• Conduct daily visual Inspections inside and outside of the facility 
\n
• Basic plumbing repairs such as plugged sewer lines, urinals, commodes, faucets and water valve.
\n
• Inspect, repair, and replace or install equipment/machinery such as fans, dehumidifiers, railings, lights, drives, doors, ramps
\n
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
\n
• Report damages, defects and other issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
\n
• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained
\n
• Adhere to compliance with health and safety standards and company policies and procedures
\n
• Make sure that all GMP and SOP paperwork is filled out neatly and correctly
\n
• Collaborate with other maintenance workers as needed 
\n

\n What We Are Looking For \n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n
• Tech school/trade school trained or graduate 
\n
• HVAC Certification 
\n
• Refrigerant recovery experience (preferred)
\n
• Strong electrical troubleshooting
\n
• Strong mechanical background
\n
• Experience with RTUs - Packaged Roof Tops (preferred)
\n
• Desire to learn new skills in maintenance
\n
• A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
\n
• Energy and enthusiasm
\n

• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and exercise independent judgment.

\n Physical Requirements/Work Environment \n

WORK ENVIRONMENT

\n

This position operates in or around cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely monitors and repairs cultivation processing equipment, cleans and sanitizes restrooms (including but not limited to toilets and urinals), and occasionally uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

\n

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, maneuver up and down ladders and stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs. This position also requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, and other physical demands and the ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

\n

This position may require some overtime as company needs arise. Availability to work holidays as needed. 

\n

Compensation Description (annually):  The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00.

\n

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
