The Housekeeping Room Attendant at the American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n
\n
\n - Pick up cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping department.
\n - Clean assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards.
\n - Report all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Engineering.
\n - Remove dirty dishes from guest rooms and hallways.
\n - Respond to all guest requests appropriately and in a courteous, timely manner.
\n - Keep the supply cart neat and organized at all times.
\n - Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
\n - Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
\n - Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
\n - Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
\n - Restock all guest room supplies and amenities as necessary.
\n - Inspect and clean any and all appliances, including coffee maker.
\n - Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for the shift.
\n - Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
\n - Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
\n
\n
\n - Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
\n - Previous experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.
\n - Ability to move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
\n - Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
\n - Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
\n - Attention to detail.
\n - A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.
\n - A Monday - Sunday schedule that allows availability to work days, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
