Our events division is setting new industry standards-are you ready to lead the charge? At Acquisition.com, we're seeking a visionary Head of Events to elevate our rapidly growing Event Production department. In less than a year, we've scaled from zero events to averaging nearly ten per month, and the demand continues to outpace our current capacity. In this role, you'll lead the transformation of our events division into the industry's gold standard, much like the Ritz Carlton sets the bar for luxury in hospitality. You'll be at the forefront of refining and scaling our operations to meet growing demand, ensuring each event not only meets but exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and Execute: Develop and propose a comprehensive event management strategy that aligns with Acquisition.com's business goals. This strategy ensures seamless coordination and successful event execution and enhances brand presence.
  • Team Leadership and Communication: Lead and motivate the event operations team through regular meetings, pre-event briefings, and effective communication, focusing on key priorities and departmental goals.
  • Oversee all phases of event planning, from concept to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and other teams to integrate events into overall business strategies and ensure proper change management.
  • Lead the on-site execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive attendee experience.
  • Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: Foster a guest-centric atmosphere by engaging with customers, gathering feedback, and ensuring excellent service throughout the event experience.
  • Measure event success through feedback, metrics, and post-event analysis to improve future events.
  • Financial and Operational Management: Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation for event management departments, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and ensuring optimal financial results.

  • Drive impactful events that elevate the company's presence and strengthen brand positioning within the industry of becoming the Ritz of business events .
  • Deliver seamless, well-organized events that meet or exceed expectations, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Consistently create engaging, memorable experiences for attendees, resulting in high satisfaction, positive feedback, and WOM increase via social media
  • Create a similarly positive experience for speakers/presenters and other staff.
  • Maximize the return on investment by balancing budget-conscious decisions without compromising the high-end, Ritz-Carlton-level experience we deliver to our guests.
  • Implement streamlined processes and systems that improve the planning, execution, and follow-up phases of events, saving time and resources.
  • Build and maintain reliable relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality services and favorable contract terms.
  • Foster a highly collaborative and motivated events team, promoting a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Analyze event data to continuously optimize future events, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Ensure events directly support business objectives, such as product launches, customer retention, and talent acquisition.
  • Keep event spending on track while maximizing impact, ensuring financial discipline without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
  • 10-15+ years of leadership experience in event management.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing multi-day business or educational events for 100 to 500+ attendees.
  • Must be based in Las Vegas, NV or willing to relocate
  • Strong background in managing customer relationships and guest experiences, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for articulating ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Skilled at analyzing data to generate innovative solutions and enhance the guest experience.
  • Impeccable attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities, ensuring all aspects of events are flawlessly executed.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, fostering a cooperative and results-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in using project management software to plan, track, and execute events.
  • Experienced in managing event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining quality.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
Salary:
  • $160,000 - $180,000 + bonus
