REQUIREMENTS Partner closely with company teams and customer to assure a clear understanding of the appropriate regulations before and during execution of the contract. Responsible for submitting required reports for contract performance and maintain records, spreadsheets, and other tracking documents as required to support: Margin Reports, internal and external audits, and billing. Manage contract-related data, and generate reports as required. Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolution with customers and subcontractors. Ability to offer innovative approaches to problem solving and develop solutions to contracting issues in supporting all phases of the acquisition, planning and execution cycle. Responsible to compile and process information regarding disputes and REAs. Write contract letter and other communication and notices. Stay up to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed. Maintain organized system of physical and digital records. Ability to understand technical documents, technical manuals, and drawings. Experience with NAVSEA, MSC, and other government Standard Items. Experience with FAR and DFAR requirements. Demonstrated negotiation skills and attention to details, strategic planning and the analyzing of information. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and to identify work priorities in a constant changing environment. Ability to succeed in a diverse team environment. Possess a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving records. Ability to acquire and keep a Security Clearance and DBIDs. TRAVEL Travel is primarily local during the business day, although periodic out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is regularly performed in the office. Must be able to to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
