Overview Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year Job Posting: Superintendent – Santa Barbara Golf Club Santa Barbara Golf Club in beautiful Santa Barbara, California is seeking a full-time, experienced Golf Course Superintendent. Responsibilities The golf course superintendent manages labor, time, materials and finances in a manner that is compatible with the environment, meets financial goals and serves our customer and client. As superintendent at Santa Barbara Golf Club, you will lead a team of maintenance employees, assure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will communicate with guests, vendors, suppliers, other golf professionals and others in the golf industry and Santa Barbara community. The superintendent may also educate community groups about the golf course and golf course maintenance. SBGC is a year-round, 18-hole regulation par-70 golf course with sweeping views of the Santa Ynez foothills. The golf course consists of cool and warm season grasses (Greens- Poa/Bent, Tees/Fairways- P. Rye/Kikuyu/Bermuda). A minimum of 2 years of experience as Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent required. The Superintendent will effectively manage a maintenance budget of $1.5M inclusive of labor and materials while delivering an exceptional golfing experience.
