Front Office Coordinator / Medical Receptionist

Position: Front Office Coordinator / Medical Receptionist at IRG Physical & Hand Therapy .

Pay Range

Base pay: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr. (Actual pay will depend on skills and experience.)

Responsibilities

Our Front Office Coordinators (FOCs) are integral to the clinic. Primary duties include:

• Optimizing patient appointment schedules
• Managing all incoming phone calls
• Processing and converting new referrals
• Collecting payments for services and obtaining insurance authorizations
• Promoting patient experience and maintaining relationships
• Tracking KPIs and benchmarks that drive clinic success and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Bachelors degree in related field preferred)
• 2+ years of customer?facing experience
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

• Physical activity including bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, and prolonged sitting
• Must work at an IRG facility and provide own transportation
• Potential exposure to viruses, diseases, and infections from patients
• Custodial duties with medical grade cleaning products (e.g., cleaning bathrooms, laundry, disinfecting equipment)
• Extended periods at a video display terminal and keyboard use
• Work schedule based on IRG needs
