Forklift Test Driver - Contract Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has a contract position opening for a forklift test driver in our Fairview, Oregon facility. HYMH designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks under the Hyster and Yale brand names.

We are seeking qualified applicants to test drive forklifts. This position involves reliability and validation testing of prototype and production forklifts.

Job description:

• Two Years Forklift Driving experience.
• Drive forklifts following course maps and instructions.
• Keep accurate, legible, and knowledgeable test logs to communicate observations and events to technicians and engineers.
• Perform simple facility or vehicle maintenance duties as assigned.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.

The following positions are available:

Second shift - 3:00 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.

Third shift - 11:00 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.

Two years forklift driving experience is required. We can train the right person on the job; however, you must be able to multi-task with the use of lots of different hand and foot controls (think riding a motorcycle or a quad).
