Position: Food Production Associate

Location: Eagan, MN

Employment Term: Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (8-10 hour shifts; weekly schedule provided)

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Food Production Associate plays a key role in maintaining the quality and safety of products in a temperature-controlled bakery environment. This position involves working on a conveyor line, performing repetitive tasks, and adhering to food safety and manufacturing standards to ensure products are wholesome and contamination-free.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate on a conveyor line to facilitate the movement and inspection of food products.
• Perform repetitive tasks with attention to consistency and quality.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) before and during production to meet food safety and quality standards.
• Complete required documentation for production records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prioritize safety in daily activities; report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor.
• Inspect equipment at the start of each shift to ensure it is in good working condition and free from contaminants.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to support food safety and quality.
• Escalate unresolved issues or production concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards is an asset.
