Fire Alarm Installation Technician

Yearly Salary $70,000-$85,000

Philadelphia, PA - Full Time

Responsibilities:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing fire alarm systems
Experience with installation testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Work with a team to ensure that all fire alarms installed are functioning properly and adhering to safety and building codes
Troubleshoot and repair any faulty equipment.

Requirements

Experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and devices
Understanding of UL, NFPA, IBC and local fire codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective communication and customer service skills
Certifications in fire alarm installation, such as NICET or equivalent, are preferred
