Position Summary:

The Final Inspector is responsible for verifying conformity of finished products to internal and customer specifications. They may provide feedback to operators and help aid in process improvements. Create certificates of conformance and control non-conforming product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• 100% Visual Review of products to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
• Verify conformity with the appropriate use of measuring devices
• Review process control plans
• Create Certificates of Conformance to customer requirements
• Aid in 1st and last piece inspection signoffs for production
• Preform Root Cause Corrective Action as necessary
• Follow managements system process for control of non-conforming product
• Complete checklists as necessary

• Be approachable and willing to assist all individuals within the company

• Maintain and promote company values (Teamwork, Respect, Initiative, Pride)
• Follow all management system processes and procedures
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provide by Geater or outside or reading technical publications
• Continuously learn and interpret GD&T

Education and/or Experience:

• Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a machining/sheet metal shop environment within the aerospace industry
