Overview Our fashion retail client in North Dallas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fashion Designer to lead their apparel and product design function. This role requires strong expertise in trend analysis, garment design, and production coordination. The Senior Designer will manage the design department end-to-end, ensuring products align with customer preferences, meet cost constraints, and are delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of sizing and fit, proficiency with technical design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with overseas manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Research and analyze market trends by monitoring competitors, online platforms, and retail activity to forecast designs that resonate with the target customer base Oversee the apparel and product design department, ensuring creative, cost-effective designs are delivered on time for seasonal programs Provide design specifications, CAD drawings, and technical requirements to international manufacturing partners; oversee prototyping, fit checks, and final production quality control Manage sizing and fit for multi-size garments (e.g., S-M, L-XL) to accommodate customers without access to fitting rooms Create and manage marketing assets, including product photography, videos, flyers, brochures, apparel tags, and packaging designs Partner with the team to develop new product lines and merchandising programs to drive sales expansion Design 5–6 exclusive pieces annually for e-commerce sales Lead the design department, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and at the highest quality standards Skills & Requirements Strong experience coordinating with overseas factories and teams, particularly in prototyping and production Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
