Seeking Experienced Group Life and Health Insurance Sales Agent

Job Description:

• Must have prior experience in Group Life and Health benefit sales
• Must be active in seeking out new clients and explaining various types of coverages
• Explain features, advantages, disadvantages of various policies to promote sale
• Determine client’s needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments and determining the extent of the present coverage and long term goals
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks

Requirements:

• Aggressive yet positive attitude
• Community involvement
• Organizational affiliations
• Must be self-motivated and competitive with a drive to earn
• Current Insurance License with the State of Michigan required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Customer Service Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
