Job Description

Our client is in search for an Estimator who will be responsible for cost calculations -- to determine how much it will cost to complete a project or provide products and services to its clients.

Our client is a full-service construction management firm specializing in residential new construction, additions/renovations, historical restorations, and LEED construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform takeoffs from architectural drawings and specifications
• Generate thorough descriptions of materials and fabrications for RFP’s
• Generate and follow up on RFI’s and RFP’s using Procore project management software.
• Prepare, review, and bid-level supplier and subcontractor proposals and pricing
• Deliver estimates and proposals on time, with supporting documentation
• Collaborate with project teams as needed throughout estimating process

Requirements:

• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end residential construction estimating.
• Technical Interest : Deep understanding of Microsoft Project, Procore, Microsoft Excel, OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam.
• Organization & Integrity: Communication, High degree of professionalism, Strong work ethic, Strong time Management, Solid organizational skills.
