We are working with a well-established, growing law firm seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates Attorney to join their Charlotte, NC office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to join a collaborative, client-focused team handling sophisticated estate planning and estate administration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wealth preservation, and probate matters
- Draft complex estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
- Represent clients in probate and trust administration proceedings
- Provide tax-efficient planning advice for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions
- Maintain and develop client relationships with a strong commitment to client service
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina (South Carolina licensure a plus)
- 3–7 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related areas
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently and independently
- A client-focused mindset with a collaborative and professional demeanor
