Emergency Medicine Physicians provide critical care in a high-volume emergency department, managing patient intake and treatment during 24-hour shifts with no inpatient duties. Workloads vary seasonally, with increased staffing during busy months and flexible scheduling options offered. The role is based in a community hospital with competitive pay, full medical malpractice insurance, and both PRN and full-time opportunities available.
ED PRACTICE DETAILS:
-Around 8500 Annual Volume ED.
-This EDs volume is busier from October> April with May> September having much less visits.
-Staffing will be adjusted for the busy season with added APP coverage for a 12hr swing shift.
-24hr Physician Shifts year-round.
-ED Duties only, No Inpatient.
-Friendly Community Hospital setting.
-Credentialing takes about 3-4 weeks.
-PRN through Full-time openings.
-Reasonable daily workloads.
-Currently need candidates able to drive to the site, no flights provided.
PROVIDED: Competitive pay rates, with increased compensation for full-time coverage. Flexible or consistent monthly scheduling. Stable long-term 1099 based coverage needs. Full med-mal insurance with tail provided.
