Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking an EHS Safety Manager to join their team. As a Safety Manager, you will be part of the safety department supporting the project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Construction Safety Manager

\n\n

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri

\n\n

Pay Range: Commensurate with experience 
\n Duration: 12 month contract 

\n\n

What's the Job?

\n\n

\n\t
• Lead construction safety for the project team, collaborating with local, regional, and global resources while adhering to safety regulations.\n\t
• Develop and execute the construction safety strategy in partnership with project and construction teams.\n\t
• Ensure compliance with construction safety policies and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\n\t
• Conduct training sessions for project and construction teams on safety protocols.\n\t
• Implement emergency evacuation simulations and investigate incidents to enhance safety measures.\n

What's Needed?

\n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Sustainability preferred.\n\t
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental or related fields.\n\t
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.\n\t
• Proven ability to influence and lead safety initiatives within a diverse team.\n\t
• Experience with risk assessments and developing safety culture in the workplace.\n
