Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving and a strong background in operating heavy equipment. This role is crucial for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trucks, including dump trucks, and water trucks, to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at construction sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Mechanical knowledge of truck operations and maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving equipment preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
