Treasure Paws is looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and mission-driven Donations Pricer to join our team. As a nonprofit thrift store that supports animals and the community every item you price helps make a difference. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dense, fast-paced setting. You'll be working at a compact workstation in our bustling back room, where focus and efficiency are key. Passion for Fashion: If you love women’s fashion and have a keen eye for style, trends, and designer labels, you’ll feel right at home here. This position centers on sorting, researching, and pricing women’s clothing—ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys and understands fashion. A solid knowledge base and curiosity about boutique and high-end brands will help you excel. Detail-Oriented and Inquisitive: This role involves in-depth online research to accurately price garments, so attention to detail is a must. You’ll be inspecting items for quality, authenticity, and any flaws—like a fashion detective! If you enjoy problem-solving and take pride in precision, this part of the job will be especially rewarding. Efficiency and Momentum: We receive a high volume of donations daily, and keeping things moving is essential. A strong sense of urgency and good time management skills will help you succeed. Balancing thoughtful research with the need to process and price clothing quickly ensures that great finds make it to the sales floor in a timely manner. What You'll Do: Sort and evaluate donated items— primarily women’s clothing Research resale value and set fair, accurate prices Organize and display merchandise for sale Work on a computer and use our pricing system Lift, move, and sort donations (some bending and standing required) Collaborate with a fun, supportive team What You Bring: A good eye for quality, value, and condition A knowledge of brands ranging from Gap to Gucci and beyond Comfort using a computer and online tools for pricing Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting Ability to maintain focus and work independently for long periods of time Reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility What We Offer: $20–$22/hr. starting wage , based on experience Excellent healthcare benefits 401(k) with employer match Quarterly and annual bonuses A friendly, purpose-driven workplace where every item has a story Join us and turn donations into impact—for animals, for the community, and for a better world.
