About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. This remote role is pivotal in the strategic and operational management of the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and capital raising, as well as managing the treasury function, including cash flow planning, investment management, and risk mitigation. A key aspect of the role is the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with regulations and to support senior management in making strategic business decisions. The Director of Finance will also be involved in driving the financial planning of the company, analyzing performance and risks, and ensuring that all financial operations adhere to legal requirements. Applicants for the Director of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. A CFA or similar qualification is a plus. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial role is required, with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods, proficiency in PowerBI/Tableau, SQL, and financial modeling, and an exceptional understanding of treasury management and funding strategies. The role demands excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability in strategic planning and business development. An analytical mind and the ability to strategize and solve problems are also essential.
