Job Description
Seeking utility designers for the creation and construction coordination of gas distribution work. All Remote. Work consists of documentation, digital sketches, customer communication and generating construction material lists for gas distribution systems. Will also be researching and implementing/explaining gas standards.
This position will also be heavily reliant on positive and consistent client interaction. The Design Technician will then use site information and measurements and generate construction prints and supporting documentation. Customer service focus preferred to assist client construction teams with various questions throughout the process and provide consistent updates. Candidate must have knowledge of general construction practices, engineering standards, federal/state pipeline safety regulations; fundamentals of land surveying, soil structure and conditions, preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Graduate, Associate degree or bachelors degree. (Drafting-AutoCad)
Basic construction experience
Reading site plans and electrical plans
Good work history
Must have interest in the energy/natural gas industry
