The Department Administrator I for the Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) department is a leadership position in the day-to-day management of the department which is comprised of faculty, post-docs, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. This position is responsible for overall administrative management of the CMB department, including but not limited to departmental accounts management, a variety of administrative duties, student support and personnel supervision and management. This position possesses and demonstrates (1) a range of university experiences including historical and institutional knowledge, (2) the ability to identify and understand the intersections among the department's stakeholders, and (3) accountability and integrity in their behavior and interactions with others. The Department Administrator I reports directly to the CMB Chair and oversees other CMB staff, contributing to an integrated team-based departmental office.•Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with financial and accounts management.
