Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young minds. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in their care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster childhood development.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Supervise daily activities, including playtime, meals, and nap time.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall goals of the daycare program.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essentia
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and certifications is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage children effectively.
• Experience with behavior management techniques tailored for young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
