Data Analyst with SQL and Traded Products

Dexian is seeking a Data Analyst with SQL and Traded Products for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Own current Data Management controls across multiple finance products, building, delivering, and monitoring daily data controls essential for Liquidity and Regulatory Reporting.
• Unwind SQL and ETL layers in Oracle to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, understand logic/derivations, and collaborate with internal and upstream tech partners to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Generate daily and monthly reports on data quality breaks and data validation shifts outside of BAU thresholds.
• Design, develop, and implement future data controls.
• Act as liaison between Treasury lines of business and Technology teams, and other Data Management analysts to communicate control status and escalate issues per defined processes.
• Data Control Governance ensure process controls, data validation activities, and measurement processes remain timely and relevant.
• Create and maintain documentation and evidence to ensure adherence to EDM Standards and RDA requirements.
• Work with minimal supervision on Corporate Treasury projects requiring creative solutions under tight deadlines.
• Improve Treasury Data Management functions for production, data governance, data change, and regulatory/audit activities.
• Validate data and sign off on reports within test environments to confirm application accuracy, functionality, and EDM Standards are met (Change Management).
• Manage relationships with diverse data partners and technology teams to support initiatives with aggressive timelines.
• Collaborate with PMO leads to provide updates on project timelines, deliverables, and obstacles.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to supplement SQL in data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience querying and analyzing large data sets using SQL (Oracle data warehouse).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and balance multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data analysis.
• Very strong communication skills with teammates and leadership within Data Management.
• Ability to work independently and take the lead on addressing issues.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices.
• Banking or Financial services experience.
• Experience supporting or working in Liquidity Management with a focus on Global Markets products (Derivatives, Secured Funding, etc.).
