Vaco is assisting their manufacturing client in Memphis, TN in their search for a Cost Accountant.
Position Overview:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as cost accounting, financial statement analysis, journal entries, and financial management. The role will involve working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate cost analysis and financial reporting. This is a full time, onsite position.
Qualifications:

• Cost Accounting and Financial Statements skills
• Analytical Skills for data interpretation and decision-making
• Strong interpersonal skills with a desire for process improvement and knowledge sharing across functions
• Experience in Journal Entries (Accounting)
• Finance knowledge for financial management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
