Salary: $70,000- $85,000 DOE
TITLE: Cost Accountant
LOCATION: Monroe, GA
SHIFT: 1st Shift- Onsite
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Standard costs management and reporting, including BOM maintenance, Labor and Overhead Rate
calculation - Supports internal/external audits related to costing processes/COGS expenses
- Supports Site FA Manager with departmental self-audits relating to inventory and cost management
- Supports Bi-Annual Physical Inventory, financial related activities
- Supports monthly forecast preparations
- Supports month end closing process by preparing monthly COGS related closing journal entries
- Coordinates annual expense budget creation
- Collaborates with department managers to monitor budget monthly variances.
- Gap Analysis Budget Reporting
- Supports Sales / Management Team with ad hoc cost analysis reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations for COGS related accounts
- Communicates with management and others in a cooperative manner
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years minimum in similar function within a manufacturing environment, automotive manufacturing
experience preferred. - Degree in accounting or business administration
- Experience doing Annual Operating Budget
- Budget vs Actual Reporting
- Experience with Regional Financial Template – Sales analysis, Gap Analysis
- Experience doing Monthly/Quarterly Reporting
