ABC Technologies' core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEMs worldwide.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Cost Accountant is responsible for managing minor/major model development cost activities includes BOM maturation, Cost Roll-up/Reporting to Plant Controllers and upper management, while also assisting on full model development activities. Demonstrate understanding of the technical processes involved in new model cost management and communicating and leading event schedule requirements will be key.

The Cost Accountant responsible for the company's production data statistics and analysis as well as monitoring the production process. Position will be responsible for the company's cost accounting and monitoring as well as controlling the company's products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Review the cost of control and manufacturing system strictly according to the company's regulations.

• Work with Preproduction Team in supporting minor/major model project management. (This includes the process of bill of material set-up in IQMS ERP system)

• Recognize problems/issues with new model development. ( Changes and support in ERP system)

• Communicates effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costs.

• Prepare New Model cost presentations that explains cost/investment to Plant controller and upper management.

• Analyze results and investigate cost change reasons.
• Carry out the inventory check system to guarantee the consistency of accounts; timely find out the reasons of any inconsistencies and investigate the responsibility.

• Confirmation of cost change reasons by part for summarization and reporting. Includes keep up with cost rolls of ERP system and raw material changes based on updates.

• Understands group business plan goals and how role/responsibility achieves those goals.
• Process our PIT transaction of production reporting daily along with review of production reporting to see issues accruing and support changes with the production manager.
• Entry and review of all inventory adjustment needs for locations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing Accounting/Cost
• BS Degree Required (Accounting Major preferred)

• New model project management experience
• Understanding of Bill of Materials, GML, cost systems, and design change systems
