Job Description

PPW is seeking a Copywriter that will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media). This role will play an essential role within the Marketing team to ensure published language aligns with our brand standard. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to make marketing decisions. We work in a high-growth market that occasionally requires irregular work hours (due to time zones) and quick turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences. We are focused on providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal. 

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years eCommerce experience required.
• Content writing for auto parts online listings highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
• Prior experience working with international teams highly desired. 
• Experience working with B2C eCommerce retailers preferred. 
• Experience with writing product listings within Amazon.
• Deep understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
• Strong ability to research and learn the technical knowledge required for content writing. 
• Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis, and acronyms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Communicator and Outlook
• A keen attention to detail and solid English communication skills. 

Responsibilities

• Proofreading and copyediting marketing and product materials including brand store contents, promotion materials, product listings, packaging, social media content. 
• Create compelling, engaging marketing content to support special promotional projects and brand story telling. 
• Write clear and error-free content for editorial communication including email, public release, customer engagement, and marketing messaging. 
• Collaborate with various teams to develop marketing materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines.
• Produce additional content writing as assigned.

Job Type/Location

• This is a full-time, in-office position located in Irvine, CA.
• Must have unrestricted US work authorization.
