Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee the ground-up construction of commercial projects throughout the country.
Qualified candidates will supervise and lead a group of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers in the construction of general contracting projects from start to finish according to approved submittals and contact documents.
Duties:
-Oversee all phases of construction projects with a focus on the erection of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
-Coordinate daily site operations, including subcontractor management, material deliveries, equipment utilization, and crew assignments.
-Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and erection plans to verify accuracy and compliance with engineering requirements.
-Supervise the layout, framing, sheeting, and finishing of steel structures, ensuring precision and quality control throughout all stages.
-Conduct pre-erection meetings to review site conditions, safety protocols, and erection sequencing with project stakeholders.
-Maintain detailed daily logs of site activities, manpower, weather conditions, and material usage.
-Manage project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain progress and productivity
-Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and logistics teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting and placement of steel components.
-Oversee installation of related systems such as insulated panels, roofing, trim, and accessories for complete PEMB assemblies.
Compensation:
-Annual salary between $100,000 - $160,000, depending on experience
-Bonuses up to 35% of annual salary, dependent on meeting certain criteria

Qualifications:
-10+ years in a supervisory, managerial, or construction management leadership role
-Extensive knowledge and expertise in Pre-Engineered Steel Building Erection
-Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, business administration, or related field strongly preferred but not required. Sufficient experience may be substituted for educational background
-Strong experience with federal, state, regional, and local laws and regulations related to the construction industry
-OSHA 30 and First Aid Certified
-Certified Aerial Platform and Forklift Operator
-Must have a valid drivers’ license
-Advanced ability to read construction drawings/plans in order to carry out various construction tasks properly
