Role: Commercial Superintendent – Ground-Up Restaurant Projects

Location: Onsite in Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $60,000 - $110,000 DOE + Benefits

We’re working in partnership with a well-established General Contractor based in Indianapolis who is actively seeking a Commercial Superintendent to join their growing team. This is an onsite role and will play a critical part in delivering high-quality ground-up restaurant builds across central Indiana.

Our client specializes in commercial construction with a strong portfolio of hospitality and restaurant work. Projects typically range between $500,000 and $10 million, and they’re looking for a Superintendent who can bring leadership, site-level expertise, and deep familiarity with ground-up restaurant construction from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on active construction sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site logistics.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
• Maintain site safety protocols and manage daily site documentation.
• Serve as the on-site leader and main point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive solutions in real time to avoid delays.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Proven track record with ground-up restaurant builds – this experience is essential.
• Ability to manage projects independently from site prep through final turnover.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Skilled communicator who can lead teams and liaise with clients, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Local to Indianapolis or willing to relocate (no remote work).
